I'm not going to argue that Ralph is the better of the two movies when it comes to storytelling, visual inventiveness, or action, but I was happier and more satisfied leaving Ralph. Did it make you see their stories in a new light? As in the first movie, the theme of identity is important to Ralph Breaks the Internet, as is the meaning and nature of friendship and what it means to follow your dreams -- and support those you love as they follow their own passions. In one scene, a game character has a martini glass and thinks a candy sourball is an oversized olive. Let's face it isn't the Emoji Movie which was generally more enjoyable and probably easier The concept is quite simply brilliant, but after about an hour it seems to have played itself out. For example, at one point, with the help of a character named Yesss, Ralph decides to make money by becoming an Internet sensation and making viral videos similar to the videos that go viral today. When fickle audiences lose interest, Ralph gets desperate, venturing into the dark net for a shortcut that will exploit his insecurities and, you guessed it, break the internet. Or my pal Ben Bailey suggested Ralph's game gets relocated into a movie theater, one of the few places arcade machines are still present, and it's Ralph in the world of the movies. What is the movie saying about? Walking away from Ralph Breaks the Internet, I had to think it over but I concluded that I was more emotionally fulfilled and pleased than with Pixar's Incredibles 2.

I also really liked the animation in this film. The first Wreck-It Ralph was a bit more structured and clean in this aspect whereas the sequel gets to feel a tad episodic. In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet—the netizens—to help navigate their way, including a webite entrepreneur named Yesss voice of Taraji P. Truly a level up as an action-packed visual feast, an impressive and very creative interpretation of the cyber universe, packed with cheeky, clever and a highly subversive script. The way the film showed the internet was fantastic. Henson, Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch, Alan Tudyk, Alfred Molina, Ed O'Neill, Sean Giambrone, Flula Borg. Going through emotional undertones about friendship and what it really means deep down, this is a film that explores new sides to these characters, but I felt that it didn't quite go as deep as the first, which is what made me love that one immediately. The world of the Internet, and how humans interact with and use the internet is explored in creative, funny, poignant ways. The film cleverly ribs the Disney traditions of old but, and this is the key part, finds ways to relate it back to character conflicts and assumptions. Parent company Disney also has a big presence, specifically the Disney princesses, who play a role in the story. The apps are synchronized with your account at Blu-ray.

In the Internet, Ralph and Vanellope are exposed to a whole new world, with both good and bad parts. Sure Ralph arc changes him during the movie, but all of the This movie it's a mixed bag for me, I loved the concept of it but the execution was not very good. The biggest new addition is Gal Gadot Wonder Woman as Shank, the leader of a gang of car thieves. Besides, the object here is to playfully riff on the way people use the internet, contrasting all that these sites have to offer — from online auctions to auto-complete search engines — with the frustration of figuring out how everything works in the absence of an experienced adult. The antics beforehand were colorful and amusing but too episodic, but once Ralph and Vanellope are split apart, now those same imaginative antics are used in the service of developing characters and exploring their inner conflicts.

Ralph Breaks the Internet is a great sequel. In one key subplot, Vanellope and Ralph enter Slaughter Race, a gritty, dangerous online multiplayer racing game in which they encounter the game's star racer, Shank , whose car Vanellope hopes to steal and sell. Some plot points just disappear when the script wants, but all of the rest I liked. A few scenes take place in a game called Tappers, in which characters drink root beer from beer mugs at a bar. There's a wine store in Slaughter Race. Difference between not being someone's friend and acting like a bad friend. One of my things is the pacing in the film.
